Yeah, that's my feeling too. Having it become ubiquitous because the entertainment industry prefers trend-chasing to innovation is annoying but it's not the first time this has happened and it sure won't be the last.

"Cal-Arts" lol, it's ok to just not like modern cartoons, you don't have to go for a made up reason a Youtuber and a fake "comparison" chart gave you.
