I enjoyed all (okay, most of) Picard! Fuck the people who want to get on their high horse about things you enjoy.

What was wrong with it?

Some loud fans in a lot of long-running fandoms get offended if you like the newer stuff or anything they don't personally like.

In this case it was the "fans" of NuTrek who were screaming the loudest about hating it and the people who liked it. The Discovery/Prodigy crowd. Apparently it wasn't spiteful enough to old Trek for them.

Well, coming from any side it is frustrating when people are telling other people what to like. Didn't need to throw that last sentence in there, though, and it is also not remotely true.

Discovery is worse. A last nail to ST coffin.

I loved s2 of Picard too, OP! It was the first time I ever liked Q.

I liked it a lot, I really enjoyed the Jurati/Borg story, goofy as it could get - it was very Star Trek that it tried to wrap up the Borg storyline by establishing that forcible assimilation was a dead end for the Borg in the long run, but that peace could be achieved if the Borg were willing to take that step.

Shame season three pretty much ignored everything two set up.

For whatever it's worth, I really enjoyed it too. The reverse Kirk/Gillian thing with Rios, Seven's journey towards self-acceptance, and Young Guinan were definitely highlights for me.
