If you don't realize it's a feature and not a bug that movie fandoms thrive on fleshing out the characters with just one personality trait by expanding on that trait and headcanoning to hell, this is a sign that this is your first experience with a movie fandom and therefore you're probably pretty young. I hope for your sake you like the music in any upcoming movies that get fandoms, or you're going to have a hard time coping.

What a condescending bullshit comment. The secret wasn't about the movie's fandom, it was about the movie itself. And you may disagree (even though secret OP is entirely correct) but what fandom does with underdeveloped characters actually doesn't change the fact that they're underdeveloped in the movie - have you not been in fandom very long either considering you're apparently not aware of this?
Also, unless it's a different movie with strong musical elements that gets way overhyped, it's actually not that likely you'll constantly encounter film music in fandom.
