The Murderbot secrets in this community have led me to believe what someone thinks of these books is an excellent litmus test for how well they understand the unreliable narrator device. There was another secret a few years ago that was all "Murderbot literally tells the reader not to care about it, so I didn't, and why would I be interested in reading about someone I don't care about? What bad writing!"
