Kraus was the main character on the original 911, though they just killed him off last season. This is the actor playing the main character on the new spin-off starting this year. He was also on another spin-off of another show: NCIS: LA.

Damn, even more spin-offs I didn’t know about. Kind of weird that he’s moving from one to the other like that, but I guess it’s a solid acting niche.
