It’s another word for the same thing. I’m not OP, but I personally prefer “neuroatypical” over “neurodivergent”, because to me the word divergent sounds powerful, like something to be proud of, and I *hate* my disability and how it’s directed my life.

As a nuerodivergent person with dyslexia, neuroatypical is such a difficult word for me to read and write, which means I hate it. But I support people using whatever words they like.
