I've been reading a lot on r/arborists the past few days, just out of curiosity and to understand more about what's going on with trees in my neighborhood. It's so interesting to me, it's a whole profession and area of study I know very little about. It's given me answers about wtf was going on with some odd looking trees in a park near me too.

What subreddits have you been into lately? Any topic.

Big fan of r/visiblemending! People mend their clothes/headphones/couches/anything and everything with funky stitches, patterns, and eyecatching designs, and all skill levels are celebrated.

Pileated woodpecker holes, had no idea what could have caused it when I first saw it on a walk. They are intense!

For a less professional but still fun and informative sub about trees check out r/marijuanaenthusiasts

I've been enjoying r/askhistorians lately. The questions sometimes take awhile to answer so I have to scroll back a bit but I love how thorough but approachable the answes are, and all with citations! And often they will include little "further reading" suggestions.

I've also been enjoying r/crochethelp because I like to quiz myself on the "what stitch is this" type posts. And it is fun and informative to learn through other peoples mistakes or questions. The people amswering are always helpful and usually include a few tricks and tips.
