TB1: Yeah, and Sam did all those horrible things because of his love for his brother. Much like Dean thought when making his deal, Sam thought he was doing the right thing. And just like Dean he was very, very wrong. Face it they both messed up big time because of their painfully co-dependent and destructive relationship. You know what would happen to Dean if Sam died? The End is what would happen, we've already seen it. The two of them are in a better place right now, but I still don't think Dean would be able to function properly if Sam died.

TB3: That's hilarious. Jack/Daniel was such a fun ship.

\o/ at your response to TB1 because YES. I get thinking Sam's an idiot, but "Sam is ruining Dean's life and should die" is... no. The whole die-for-each-other cycle could go on and on forever as long as they're codependent, we've seen how broken each is without the other, and although it's a little messed up, they are BETTER OFF together. Just, perhaps not so clingy-together.

I've spent the entirety of Supernatural wanting to give Sam a smack upside the head, but I love the dork.

I gotta admit I cheered over the break up because it was the signal to better things coming for those two. I was so worried at the end of S4 that they'd fall back into the same stupid dynamic so it's been really fun watching them trying to build a mature relationship with each other. I just honestly can't imagine a future (if they get one) where they aren't together. I mean even if one of them made a go at the "normal" life after the end of the show the other one would be there all the time anyways.

That got a little out of control.

The funny thing is, although Sam's the one where most of season four I wanted to throttle him and make him sit in the naughty corner and think about what he'd done, I think he's the character who overall I pretty much sympathise with the most and the character who - even if Castiel's my favourite - I probably feel a real love for the most. I just really, really, really want things to work out for him, and I don't think Sam'd ever be happy in the codependent thing he and Dean had carved out for themselves; but Sam can tear himself away easier than Dean can so I'm relieved we're seeing people finally telling Dean "Look, stop clinging to Sam, and stop being a bit of a dick a lot of the time" because okay, he's got self-esteem issues (to put it mildly) but he's not fixing them by clinging onto Sam and going LOVE AND WORSHIP ME AS YOUR BIG BROTHER AND LORD AND MASTER.

It's why I'd like to see Castiel in between them both (not... necessarily in that way, although holy crap, what a mental image *_*) so Dean's got a proper friend of sorts, someone who distinctly is not family but likes him nonetheless, and so that Sam's got someone who, when necessary, can slap Dean upside the head when Sam's not able to do the slapping himself.

OH GOD NS!1 D: NIGHTMARE FUEL FOR LIFE

TB1: Uh... no. a) Dean died so Sam could live, it'd kind of ruin the point if Sam didn't survive. b) I prefer my show with Sam, Dean AND Cas. c) Okay, Sam was a monumental idiot, but he was basically an addict AND everyone - angels and demons alike - was manipulating him into doing what he did while NO ONE SUPPORTED HIM UNTIL TOO LATE. If they'd bumped into Chuck earlier or Bobby found out about the blood thing earlier I reckon they might've been able to do something but seriously, Sam was all messed up about Dean's death, fixated on getting revenge on the personal responsible for it, and I've nothing but sympathy (and a generous smack around the back of the head, admittedly) for him.

TB4: I don't think they ever stopped caring for each other (in a platonic sense in my opinion) regardless of the fighting, and I'm pretty sure Paul'd know that. At least, I hope so :).

Haha, OMG, really? People thing Cas is taking Sam's place? Cas isn't even in all the episodes, and half the time when he is, it's only a couple of scenes.

Also the whole point of this new season is the brothers becoming less screwed up and codependent so they don't make dumb mistakes like drinking demon blood and getting sent to hell. Yeah, he has been a weight around Dean's neck, but Dean was the one who made it that way.

No, it's not just you, I'm totally in the same boat. I actually used to be okay with mpreg when I was younger, and then I guess I grew up or moved past it because it's a bit of a squick now.

I mean, if people want to write it, that's their business, but there are a few artists I quit watching because it turned out to be their thing. That manip of yours is totally turning me off my egg drop soup over here. D:

most disney movies are going to make me cry. not all of course, but a good 70%. example: i watched Bolt last week, I'm 22 , and i got all teary.

The Fox and The Hound has like 3 "ima cry' moments.

And if you notice, it's almost always 'self sacrifice in the name of love' to some degree. that's disney's cry-push button -their trick- and even knowing this, they still get me.

tb4: Let me break your heart and tell you they really didn't. They were still pretty close friends and even when they were fighting, they still loved each other, but they never got everything out. Paul mentions how much he regrets not really talking to him about their problems in one of his interviews and how they just had too much pride. Plus he thought he had a lot more time. ;__;

tb5: Aw, now I'm all sad. So many Disney movies never fail to make me cry.
