... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that long comment secrets can be difficult to make with a good end result. Most of the time, I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'm trying something new with the comment secret thread and extending the deadline to comment until Sunday's post goes up. I'll monitor this thread until then, and hope the extra day will be more helpful for everyone.

P.S. Please don't worry if you've submitted a secret and it hasn't been posted yet. I usually post these threads before running out of the previous batch of secrets to get a head start on the next batch.

I have a hard time accepting that in this day and age, knowing what we know, that "Blurred Lines" still gets played on radio stations.

I couldn't make it through The Babadook. Not because it was too scary, mind you, but because the kid's screaming. It made me angry and depressed and reminded me of how colicky and difficult my child was.

I watched The Woman in the Yard and actually really enjoyed it, so all the negative reviews surprised me. Is it that people don't want heavy symbolism or ambiguity in their horror?

There is a character in a movie I have never seen and never will see. The movie is called "Help I've been turned into a fish!". A clip of the villian's death scene popped up on YouTube and it grossed me out and unnerved me to the max. I was surprised at how revolvting I found him, the scene and the animation. Blegh!

I miss that "The Office" style Myppet Show. I found it hilarious and comforting, but I know ratings were mixed.

As a kid, I couldn't watch Sesame Street because of Snuffleupagus. The way he moved was so unnerving and creepy to me and I still hold that he moves like a furry bag of snakes.

I found the episode "The Woman Who Was Kept on a Shelf" really disturbing and I can't quite explain why. It's not even like it was done all that well.

It kind of gave me the same creeped out feeling I had after reading Nine and Half Weeks, which is funny because they are not on the same level at all.

I'm still sad about Chelsea's death. She was the only character I really thought was likeable and charming and I was rooting for her happiness.

Belinda should have taken her boy toy off into the newly-rich sunset with her. It's kind of messed up that she ditched him once she struck gold.

I really like the song "Industry Baby" by Lil Nas X, but my dumb ass recently learned he doesn't actually say "Y'all shouldn't have let me read Gatsby", he instead says "Y'all shouldn't have let the world gas me". I guess this literature lover was too tickled about the prospects of a Great Gatsby reference to listen properly.

I feel guilty as a lesbian for liking Jayce/Viktor from Arcane and having no interest in the canon sapphic relationship.

I find both The Good Place and White Lotus season 3 descriptions of death supremely comforting and have them saved on my phone.

I don't like canon ships.

The song "I'll Try" from Peter Pan 2 still makes me cry. I relate painfully to having to grow up too early.

I find Mr. Pederman sexy and shipped him with Elaine.

Phil Dunphy from Modern Family is one of the only straight men I could trust in real life.

The more I learn about Dropout actors and the fans, the more annoying I find them all. I wish I hadn't looked into it and just enjoyed the skits and shows on their own.

(I've stopped learning and interacting and now just enjoy it on my own but it just isn't the same as pure bliss of ignorance.)

I almost always have some kind of 4+ hour chill gaming livestream recording playing on my second monitor. I'm glad people can make a career out of this. I wish more streamers uploaded full vods to youtube.

I hate and avoid joining streams live though. I don't want to interact with streamers or especially their creepy parasocial fans, I only want to use recordings as calm background noise because I dislike total silence.

I found the Paddington movies incredibly boring. I didn't even make it through all of Paddington 2.

The internet keeps trying to tell me they are cinematic masterpieces, particularly Paddington 2, and I am starting to think it is one large scale trolling that I just am not in on.

I don't think Terry Pratchett wrote young women very well. Older women, yes. Girls, sure. But he always leaned on the same two or three stereotypes for the 19-25 year olds. I still enjoy the stories immensely though.

Even among an incredibly talented cast, I think the voice performance of Cheryl and/or Carol Tunt is one of the best in animated history.

icl i'm getting real fucking tired of the legoification of non-lego stuff. everything gotta have a lego tie-in these days and it drives me batty. and i don't mind lego! i just hate how it invades every piece of media it possibly can! lego versions of everything under the sun, either official or fan-created. make it stop oml. it's never tagged properly either so it's impossible to avoid in fandom spaces.
