I don't know how to tell you most furry people are LGBT and frankly a lot of furry hate is covert LGBT hate.

I thought you smart enough to know this.

Not really. Just because they sometimes belong to both groups doesn't mean the hate is connected. It just means furries often suck.

Go to insult for furries for decades contains the slur "fag." Furries aren't angels nor inherently queer, but you can't deny that too much of the vitriol is over how it attracts gay/bi men and trans people, instead of ethical issues involving their kinks.

Specifically, a lot of furries are transgender, on the grounds that if you dream of being a girl, you might as well dream of being a kickass dragon girl. I think there’s also an overlap between furries and autism.

And/or low key ableism. A good chunk of the furry fandom is neurodivergent on some level.
