I agree with you, but I wouldn't say furry is always a kink. Yiff is, but you can be considered a furry if you watch Looney Tunes and draw SFW OCs. Furry is as much of a kink as liking anime is. Some anime fans are super into hentai, but others aren't.

I don't believe anyone is oppressed for their fandoms, that's hogwash. I draw anime and furry art, but NEVER hentai or yiff, and I'm open that I don't. But it gets frustrating how people who have never met me will automatically assume that I'm a pervert or creep for drawing that stuff despite not associating with the community, and I have to constantly defend myself that I'm not "one of the creeps" to complete strangers. That's what gets tiring about hardcore anti-furry people. It's not an identity, it's not a form of oppression, but it does often border on senseless bullying to have people automatically assume shit about you that isn't true.

Yeah no. I watch Looney Tunes. It's a cartoon. I watch it for humor and satire. But I'm not "into" the anthropomorphology of Bugs Bunny. He could be played by a human and I'd still be entertained as shit. But once you get lovingly into painting the forms, you're talking about something else. I've got nothing against furries, but denying it's a kink is like denying water is wet.
