back in the 90s I did a paper (college linguistics class) on Klingon, and learned a lot of really fascinating things, not the least of which was that the work to cultivate the conlang inadvertently led to structuring the Klingon culture. a Klingon-centric series now, with another 25+ years of behind-the-scenes work on Klingons and tlingon-hol, would be amazeballs. they have so much framework to build on without having to reinvent the wheel, and I have no theories on why ST franchise workers are avoiding them (aside from some kind of terrible reinvention in Discovery? I never watched it but I've heard seething reports).
