I think this is more likely just getting people to click than it is about the content itself. Particularly with the k and c-drama content, they want to get views by pretending to be a real source, but not actually give the effort to actually do any work. The cha-ching is what they're after, any fans they might get in the time being is just consequence.
At least I think so if I'm not reading you wrong. I'm assuming there's some sort of law they're avoiding by making their episodes so short otherwise.

Either way, don't give them a watch cause that just sounds sketchy as shit.
