I will say I am not a great chef or anything, but I don't' think it matters. I have a smaller one that just has one button to turn it on and I've cooked all sorts of different rice in it and it's always been fine for me.

My sister has the big one and I find it more annoying to store and clean. It's just kind of clunkier. But I guess if you just keep it on the counter it doesn't really matter.

Either way, it will be a game changer! Rice cookers are such a small thing that brings a huge quality of life boost imo. It sounds silly, but it's just so much easier to dump the rice in and press a button and voila delicious rice. I was always fucking up rice on the stove, even though it's basically just boiling water.

I need one for a family of four so I think the 6 cup should cover that.
