Without trying to sound glib: girl run.

But in all seriousness that shit is not going to get better, he's going to fall on his face when he's on his own but frankly that's his issue. Needing money in an emergency is one thing, but poor financial planning through buying stupid shit is entirely avoidable and him asking for money in the first place is already bad enough. If you can save up and get out for good.

^ This. Financial hardship and having different views about money management* can blow your relationship up, leaving additional collateral damage like debt and a terrible credit rating. A person who spends money like water and then demands YOUR money for stuff like rent and food is a person who will sink and drag you down with him.

* I'm being kind. OP's boyfriend has zero money management skills and is a leech. This isn't a "different views" thing so much as a "boyfriend hasn't grown up but expects a woman to take care of him physically and financially" thing.
