I love confounding them with real life. The types of people who get that granular and OTT with signifiers of "power imbalance" are generally one of two things: someone very young and inexperienced with real life relationships; or someone who uses moral-sounding pronouncememts to gain social power for themselves. Either way, they're not worth taking seriously.
