My favorite smut is in long fics with full developed plots. So I actually appreciate when they flag-up or "warn" for smut in a particular chapter. Otherwise I have to try searching for "fuck" or words for genitals, which works sometimes but gets both false positives and negatives.

(I do read the whole thing all the way through first, but later I'll come back for just the smutty bits.)

I fucking love the over the top nonsense of the 9-1-1 season premiers. So many people complain about them, but they are the highlight of each season for me. They are ridiculous and they keep getting moreso each year and I love it.

I’m pretty heartbroken that there still isn't a Dragon’s Dogma 2 DLC anywhere on the horizon. The main game seemed really unfinished and limited compared to the first one and had some huge issues (like the weird affinity system that actually managed to get worse in a way). Considering this, I’m not even sure if a DLC would be any good but still, at least it would be a bit more content.

I’ve been a fan since 2006. Love that they’re having a revival. But if I see someone who looks to be under 30 out & about wearing MCR merch, I generally will avoid interacting with that person.

The majority of the fandom that I’ve seen & experienced since they came back has been so very terrible. I don’t want or need that in my life.

Especially how fuckin weird people are about Gerard now. They were always weird about him but the level of psychosexual fixation and intense personal projection I’m seeing now is a whole new level of creepy.

I can’t read fics where the focus is on a het pairing anymore.

I seem to be only able to read M/M and F/F or maybe a poly pairing.

Even if I like a M/F pairing in canon, I find fic often ends up reducing the female character in particular to tropes.

And things end up boring.

As someone who is 40 and has been into MCR since hte beginning like...wtf are you talking about. Yeah there are weirdos but there are weirdos in all age brackets. So many new people found their music after their breakup and getting to be in spaces where we are all enjoying them touring, has been amazing. Across age ranges.

Also re: Gerard? People have always been fucking weird about him. Maybe it just was less visible if you weren't super online back when they were popular pre-breakup but everything you are complaining about happened back then just in different flavors.

I'd rather be friends with the fandom ppl now than be friends with someone like you tbh.
