This is the first year where I'm seeing enough complaining about "kinkless Kinktober" and other similar phenomena that that is getting on my nerves a little.

If people want to run a "Kinktober" event that has little to no kink or involves weird rules about moral purity... ugh, I just don't care? Let them go over there and do their own thing. That's what a lot of us hoped for in the first place.

I love having freaks and perverts for friends (fellow ace and smut writer). I hear about the weird anti-kink events at a distance sometimes but then I get to write wild kinky smut for my dearly beloveds on the internet.

Quick and plain? Fried egg with a runny yolk, pepper and a splash of soy sauce, maybe a drizzle of sesame oil. Avocado if I have it.

Veggies and tofu. I roast it all together then dump it on some rice. If I'm feeling fancy I'll make a little sauce to pour over it all, but often I'm too lazy for that XD

Just about anything that normally goes with rice in terms of Chinese food, Indian food, etc. But also:

* fistful of grated cheese (I like cheddar or colby jack, whatever you like is fine) and finely chopped red onion
* chunks of avocado, lots of pepper and soy sauce or sriracha

Fatty fish, chiken, beef stewed with onions. Fried eggs and ketchup.

Idk what do all the cuisine answers mean. You all know that both China and India are huge with different food depending on region.

I like to make bowls that mix vegetables and protein, with a quick sauce of sushi vinegar and soy sauce (and garlic, if I have it). Current favorites are broccoli (raw), mushrooms (sliced and cooked), with either salmon or a couple of fried eggs.

It's always vegetables and meat for me, either chicken, fish or cow meat. Occasionally curry and spices. It's my everyday go-to comfort food.

I make a veggie cheese rice casserole that I really like. Onion, garlic, broccoli, mushrooms, throw some panko on top. yummm

A nice Thai red curry. I had the biggest craving for a red the other night so we took a gamble on the new takeaway place, and oh my goodness it was delicious. I do a lot of stir fries with all my staple veggies too (mushrooms, broccoli, baby corn, peppers, etc.) I keep trying to make myself like beansprouts. No luck so far.

Stir fried tofu and veggies with various sauces, various beans and their cooking liquid and aromatics. When I was a kid my mom (an old hippie) would make "brownies," brown rice topped with steamed or sautéed veggies, grated cheese, and tamari toasted sunflower seeds.

I still cook and eat brown rice more often than white. White rice is arborio for risotto, or plain when I've been sick to my stomach.

Awhile ago (I have no idea how long it has been. what is time?) I posted here about my troubles with my journey with mental health and medication. I kept having awful side effects and trouble with doctors. Well I just wanted to say that I switched Docs and I adore my new psychiatrist. She took my history and my symptoms seriously and the first thing she did was pause all meds and do a genetic test that will tell you which medications you are likely to react to and which ones are probably okay. I started on one of the "green/good to try" meds a few weeks ago and it has been amazing. It isn't perfect but I already feel loads better than I have on any other med I tried and there have been the most minimal of side effects. This is just the first step of her plan, but I already feel more positive than I have with any other doctor previously.

Thanks for everyone here that's been supportive on my very random posts and vents!

It's time to stop watching streamers

I had a dream about a streamer the other night. He and I were having some sort of love affair (with my husband's blessing, it seemed), and we had to sneak around so his wife wouldn't find out. I attended a party at his house; we met in the bathroom, started making out, and inevitably were caught by his wife.

I woke up thinking, "my gods! My gods!" None of it was real, and I know this, but I felt so unbelievably skeazy. I looked over at my husband's sleeping form and wanted to apologize, despite his dream version having no qualms with my philandering. But the man's wife! His poor wife! And he's got an infant son, as well!

In waking life, I don't feel as if I have a crush on this man, but it's clear that I have some sort of attachment, and I do not like it. I would like for it to go away, and thus, my short-lived time watching streamers must come to an end.

I'm not sure why I'm posting this. How do you all feel about streamers and parasociality? It's come up on here a few times, and there seems to be a consensus that it's a little strange, but this experience has gone beyond that for me.

Is You Tube people who make videos about low income/poverty finance a fandom?

I want to make a secret but idk if it counts as a fandom. There are a lot of people who make videos about saving money and budgeting and I watch these as inspiration. But does it count as a fandom?
