(Anonymous) 2025-10-05 06:53 pm (UTC)(link)I’ve been a fan since 2006. Love that they’re having a revival. But if I see someone who looks to be under 30 out & about wearing MCR merch, I generally will avoid interacting with that person.
The majority of the fandom that I’ve seen & experienced since they came back has been so very terrible. I don’t want or need that in my life.
Especially how fuckin weird people are about Gerard now. They were always weird about him but the level of psychosexual fixation and intense personal projection I’m seeing now is a whole new level of creepy.
