This is very relatable. The only het ships I've had in the last 15 years have been a ship between a psychotic teenager and her adoptive, crime-lord father figure (Jilco) and a ship between an ice-cold, workaholic fascist woman and the maladjusted simp with mommy issues who is obsessed with her (Keero).

I realized after a while that in order for me to ship het these days, the ship dynamic needs to be, like, innately weird and messed up. Give me power dynamics that require an entire essay to even summarize, you know? Give me a ship that's so fucking deranged that even if they tried to enact basic, standard-issue gender roles, they'd end up doing some other freaky weird shit by accident, lol.
