Transcript - [Scrubs]

I fear the new Scrubs revival will ruin the happy memory of Scrubs for me (but I'm also definitely going to watch it).

Why does everything need a revival or a reboot?

Just let them live happily in the past!

Because Hollywood has always liked grinding out sequels and remakes.

it's easier than thinking up anything original

Now we'll have to acknowledge that season nine existed.

Who is the character on the far left? I don't recognize them at all.....

I actually looked it up because I couldn't remember the show very well.

Apparently it's Bill Lawrence, the creator.

Ah ha. Well, no wonder - i have zero idea of what 99% of most creators, producers, and directors look like.

I like that it is going to be a limited fun, I think I read 9 episodes? That gives me hope that it will be quaility over quantity.

Everything needs a revival or a reboot because people like you will always watch them.

Weird take.

I remember as a youth there were a lot of series (books, shows, films) where I wanted more but settled for what was available.
But even more, I genuinely loved getting into a series and knowing when it was going to end. I didn't read a lot of book series because there was no foreseeable end to the series.

Somewhere in my teens I'd filter out continuations or reboots or extended universe stuff.

LOTR was a great trilogy!
There're "The Hobbit" and "The Simirillian" if tou want to know about the world building and more about Bilbo and Gandalf.
Ha-ha, sounds great but no thanks.

This is why I'm not going to see it :)
Same as when I watched an episode of season 9 while it was originally airing in my country, hated it and never continued the series. What you don't watch/know can't hurt your memories! (unless you're active in the fandom and the new show retcons the canon is some way. that sucks.)
