Joyful unabashed silliness would usually be just my thing, but there is something about this channel that makes me uncomfortable.

Like going to a couple’s house and they constantly baby talk together and are full of idiosyncratic in-jokes they use like they’re normal language.

I’m looking forward to the Highlander reboot. Henry Cavill doesn’t seem like a very imaginative choice, but he’ll probably do all right and he certainly has a better shot at pulling off a Scottish accent.

On the flip side, it’ll be hilarious to have Ramirez played by Russell Crowe, who’s unlikely to pull off anything like a Spanish accent if his Robin Hood performance is the best he can do.

They’ll never top Clancy Brown as the Kurgan, though.

If Serena Williams is trying to imply that a piece of hotel room decor is a racist statement… yeah, IDK man. It’s probably not that deep. Kind of like how the generic paintings are just chosen to be bland background aesthetic, and not because they’re revolutionary artistic statements.

This seems particularly silly and performative because… is she boycotting cotton in all forms? Doubt it. Because you know what else “doesn’t feel great”? Polyester sheets and towels, LOL.
