Advice

Does anyone else with chronic back issues deal with a long commute and/or stop/go traffic? What tips do you have? This is new to me. Drive isn't that much longer, but I never had to regularly deal with this kind of traffic before.

My massages help, but not as much as they used to. I'm dealing with 3 herniated discs due to a car accident, and I'm pretty sure this traffic is not helping.

Try different pillows/back support things for your car. My friend has chronic lower back problems and had to go through a bunch before she found something that worked but she said it really helps.

Heat helps me. My car now has heated seats and even in summer I have it set at least to low. In my old car, I had a heated chair pad thingy on my seat that plugged into the cigarette lighter.

Stretches before and after the drive!
