I feel old

My body feels old. Between my sinuses and my knee arthritis and back issues, I can tell when it is going to rain even when the weather says otherwise. Massive sinus/migraine headache plus aching knees and back equals dropping air pressure and likely rain in the next 12 hours.

I've been coughing like a chain smoker due to a lingering cold and it makes my chest ache each time. My kneecap is off centre and grinds against bone which makes long distance walking or standing difficult. I have lower back pain and fibroids. I'm only nearly 40.

Me and my partner slept over at his childhood home on Friday night and slept on his mum's air mattress. It's a good air mattress. Not cheap, very well made, plenty of good blankets and pillows.
I woke up with the absolute worst back and hip pain I've had in years. I'm still aching now.

I hear you. I wake up feeling like my back muscles are in knots for no damn reason other than stress and sleeping in the "wrong" position. I absolutely cannot handle crappy mattresses and pillows anymore, and shoes that lack proper cushioning and arch support or my body will pay the consequences. I don't care about gray hair and wrinkles but damn, I'd like to just live a normal life without hurting all over.

Truth, my anonymous friend. I told my physical therapist something similar last week, "I just want to be able to walk around without being in pain the whole time."

Sciatica for most of the year and when it really gets going I'm hobbling around like someone twice my age.

Also the skin cancer. Surgery incoming!
