I'd like to high-five you. I still remember playing the demo for the first Bayonetta (as a very awkward bi-curious 20 year old) and just being so fucking happy with how unabashedly over-the-top it was. It was pure fun for fun's sake. It took the tired trope of "hot lady doing combat in heels" and went okay but what if they were GUN HEELS, and I loved every second of it. It gave absolutely zero shits and was an incredibly well-designed gaming experience on top of it.
