This was a comment secret, so if the image choice is incorrect, that's on me. My apologies! I confess I wasn't familiar with the -girls characters mentioned in the secret text and thought the first image was an example of a catgirl. Because it's a girl... with cat ears? To be honest, I know very little about anime/manga at all, so any comment secret submitted for those genres that doesn't reference a specific work, I'm just trying to make a good guess and hoping it's close.

That catperson's gender is heavily debated in fandom. On the one hand, she insists on going by Ferris and hates when anyone uses her birth name, and constantly talks about how she loves being girly and hated being manly. On the other, trans people don't exist in Japan and the author once said he's a crossdresser a million years ago, so the evidence is completely impossible to weigh in either direction.

That is a thing people believe, yes. Don't ask me why. (it's because they want to believe trans people don't exist anywhere but they can't sound convincing when talking about places they actually know anything about, while they get away with claiming this about Japan because their friend group consists mainly of other transphobic weebs who see Japan as exotic and mystical and disconnected from reality because their entire awareness of the country is anime and video games)

I may have somewhat of a dislike of these people.
