I understand why incest ships disturb some people. I totally get that and respect people being bothered by it

However i never understood the anti-incest people who insist that if you ship an incest pairing you must want to do it with your own sibling. No?? Like. Writing a gay ship doesn't make me a gay man??

If I wrote a story where someone for their own in story reason killed their sibling , any reasonable person wouldn't automatically think "oh the author must want to kill their own sibling"

Hell the vn/video game "The Coffin of Andy and LeyLey is all about how dysfunctional and messed up the main characters and their relationship is, and how their relationship seems to end in tragedy in a majority of endings. How does anybody play the game and think "oh the author thinks incest is good?"
