Booker/Elizabeth is a blast from the past, Omg! I totally shipped them too, I thought I was picking up a lot of romantic subtext before the reveal.

Batfamily ships, ugh, so much anti drama over whether they should be considered incest ships or not, and which ships are "okay" LOL, it's refreshing honestly to see someone say they see batfam pairings as an incest ship and still ship it.

Nothing I’m really passionate about, but when I was deep into The Borgias, I definitely saw the appeal of Cesare/Lucrezia. It’s basically canon (in the show, probably not in history).

Not my main thing, but for a while I was really into the main character from Watamote and her brother. One of the few times I was well-fed on a ship, it had tons of great Pixiv art.

I was actually kind of surprised to discover that most incest ships are a hard pass for me. I'm open-minded about them. I get the appeal of some of them. But whenever I try to give one a chance, no matter how well-written the fic is, I just can't get past the knowledge that the characters grew up together. They probably jumped on the couch together, and tattled on each other obnoxiously, and flicked cereal at each other and all of that little kid stuff. And every time the character is thinking something sexual about their sibling, or doing something sexual with them, my brain cannot stop picturing the mundane, everyday reality of being siblings who grew up together, and it completely kills the mood.

However, I'm pretty sure that if they didn't grow up together, and only came into each others lives around the tween years or later, then I could get into it, even if they were full blood siblings. I think I just need them to have some sense of identity that was formed before they knew each other. Even if they're far from fully formed, I just need them to have a concept of, like, before they knew each other, and after.

I used to read Boromir/Faramir back in the day. There was one fic that was so exquisite I still get goosebumps remembering it and I haven't read it for many dead-hard-drive years. I tried Wincest but it didn't take.

I want to read that fic.

Alex/Justin from Wizards of Waverly Place, Casey/Derek from Life with Derek, Cesare/Lucrezia from The Borgias (and honestly any media they're portrayed in, like the Flower-Crowned Madonna manga), Jon/Sansa from Game of Thrones, Deon/Roxana from Roxana, Eustaph/Lan from The Viridescent Tiara...I could go on.
