Weekend Plans?

What is everyone doing this weekend?

I'm visiting my sister. We had a Halloween gift exchange! We are mostly going to be playing WoW and such because of the new event. I'll be driving home on Sunday.

Well, not going out anywhere as my back is super unhappy. Things I did this week exacerbated my car accident injuries, and now I can barely bend over. Made it through work, but can't see spine doc until wednesday, so have to tough it out.

So going to lay in bed and watch Babylon 5 and maybe Buffy or Supernatural.

I'm working this Saturday because it's one of our two 'billing days' a year. So, the whole office is in on Saturday to do clean up and bills. It's fine, though, because if you attend both these Saturdays, you get the week between Christmas and New Years off with pay at my job.

I've always felt the trade off of 2 Saturdays a year was worth it for that.

Crying. It's been a lot! The world has. It really does seem like we're living a nightmare each day. At least for me it has. For a while, yeah, but it is getting worse.

also probably kitchenware shopping . My bro and I cleaned house today and let's just say... we had to clean out the sink and .. throw away a LOT of our stuff. I will never doubt the importance of dishwashing again.

not a goddamn fucking thing.

last weekend I LARPed as a Barrow-Wight and camped out to enjoy stargazing, smores, and good times with weirdos by a campfire. next weekend I vend at a local maker faire. this weekend? I'mma sit on my ass, cook some food, do some dishes, and nothing else. I have enough stock for the maker's market that I don't need to be hand-sewing all weekend, fuck that shit. it's time to sit, take brain off hook, drink a lot of whiskey, forget my name.

Catching up on sleep, work on my knitting project (a long, thick wool jacket that will be great to wear around the apartment during winter) and maybe go to a café tomorrow, or just take a walk as the weather is good around her now.
