Everything I know about Taylor Swift has been against my will and it's always the Swifties telling me about it. Is this discourse stupid as fuck? Yes. Would it only be known in the weird-ass anti-Swift circles of twitter and reddit if her stans didn't feel the need to obsessively collect every negative statement ever made about Taylor Swift and hold it up to the world as proof about how oppressed she is? Also fucking yes.

Really? Where do you see that happening? She’s the most grievous single person for environmental impact. That’s a lot different than what you’re claiming. And it isn’t just her personal travel like some are trying to claim; it’s because she herself is a brand with merchandising.

I have one good friend who is a moderate Swiftie and I never heard anything from her about this while I came across several anti-Swift instas who were raging about this batshit theory.

I work with a young kid who is a swiftie and unless I ask I don't hear a thing about Swift(I asked how the concert she went to for the Era's tour was because that's polite and she was excited about it).

I'm sure if I was in the online spaces for her I'd see more Swift mentions, but as I'm not all I see is antis making up insane delusional theories over how she's actually satan corrupting kids, or they find her annoying and go along with the insane theories because now their hate is 'legit'(all while keeping quiet about their fave male artists who definitely engage in the same behaviours they take issue with Swift over).

Anon, this is on tumblr where there’s no algorithm it’s the people I follow who have gone absolutely batshit over hating this woman for daring to be successful and popular that they keep reblogging actual conspiracy shit. Like I keep having to unfollow people because they’re turning into deranged antis.

I don’t engage with Swift in any capacity, but please do make up a conspiracy for how I’m somehow seeing stuff I don’t engage with when there’s an actual logical answer. But I know antis don’t run on logic.
