I honestly hope it is one of the "joke" supes who take down Homelander in The Boys/GenV. The show always makes such a big thing about power levels, and has the badguys make disparaging remarks about how unfit the normal people and "joke" supes are. As well as one baddie outright saying he is gonna genocide any supe whose powers are not seen as serious enough. It would be fitting for one of them to take them down, the ultimate refutation of the evil nazi ideology promulgated by Vought et al.

I don't even watch this show, but same. I always hate when a piece of media starts out supposedly critiquing power structures only to gradually turn into a power-scaling mess instead of actually changing the existing status quo it started out critiquing.
