I'm fighting off hoardes of kids. Bought some Bounty mini bars but ate them all myself. Now I have only crappy hard candies to give away.

Happy Halloween! I'm from a country where Halloween isn't really huge and trick or treating isn't really done much. And I live in a small village and my street is on a very steep hill so usually, not a lot of kids trudge up the hill for just two or three houses who actually give out candy. But today there were actually much more kids than in the last few years! It was adorable! I think several families with young children must have moved into the street above us so they come by on their way down the hill.

I've only gotten like 10 kids so far and it is almost near the end of trick or treating hours here. 😭 My house faces a weird way so I think people can't see my porch light as easily.

None here, though I can hear them down the street. But we hae our lights off. Our kitty likes ot try to explore out the front door, and it is too much of a pain to shut her in a bedroom every time kids come to the door.

My husband works swing shift so I had to turn the lights off early. I have a small pile of Reese’s bats and pumpkins that I suspect I’ll finish eating before my own bedtime.

Last year there were zero kids Trick or Treating where I live (apartment complex), this year I didn't prepare myself and mostly placed some decoration at my door for self-fulfillment. Turned out there were some kids this year!

Thankfully, I still had some leftover candy from the untouched batch of the last Halloween, nice to see it gone. I guess some moms organized to incentivize some people to make it happen, there was a mom with a huge batch of kids who was dressed as a zombie bride, I gave her one candy as well.

Happy Halloween, Merry Samhain!
I went and worked a few hours off the clock at one of the houses I am staff at. The ladies had a party for friends and family and were really excited. It came off great, they had fun, the house looked spiff.
I gotta go back to work my actual shift at 11. I did make a Jack'o'Lantern, though, and he'll burn outside through the night for me. No trick or treaters come to my house.
