Been watching Columbo with my family on tubi... haven't told them, or anyone else, about my Big Gay Columbo headcanon-- that the reason 'Mrs. Columbo' never has a first name and we never see photographs of her, just her relatives, is that Columbo can't say he goes home at night to some guy named Steve, or talk about his common-law husband.

Saw a post somewhere on Tumblr that said the way Columbo talks about his wife is a lot like how a cis guy with a trans female partner talks when he doesn't really "get" being trans but supports her no matter what.

Glad to see I'm not the only one, lol. I've been headcanoning him as a big olde homosexual since the 90s when I used to watch the reruns with my grandma on Sunday evening.

I am down with this headcanon!

Not related to the JLO connection mentioned above

I really can't click with this album like "Midnights" and "Reputation". The title is called "The Life of a Showgirl" and I am not getting showgirl vibes with this album. I was expecting something along the lines of Liza Minnelli's collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys, "Results," or Madonna's "I'm Breathless" (two albums that understood the showgirl vibe). Still, it feels like your average Taylor album.

This is where Lady Gaga's "Harlequin" got right, and while it was an album for her role as Harley Quinn in the musical film, "Joker: Folie a Deux", it has those nice Showgirl vibes, and it was a musical album (meaning, Musical Theatre).

Oh wow. Can't believe that headcanon never occurred to me before. I love it!
