Re: Question/Advice

Any advice on telling the difference between cravings and actually being hungry for that thing?

I work a very demanding physical job which makes me super hungry, and I often think I want something only to realize it wasn't what I wanted to eat at all.

For me, hunger is a physical feeling in my stomach. Cravings are either emotional or the "feeling" is in my mouth. I usually aks myself "am I stomach hungry or mouth hungry?" amd go from there.

Actual hunger can be fixed by eating basically any moderately well rounded healthy meal. Mouth/emotional hunger is rarely sated unless I find the exact thing I am craving.

Not sure if any of that info helps.

That's good advice. Thanks, I think that will help me get a clearer picture.
