Re: Clothes

I may be unable to advise on fashion (jeans n tees, here) but there's no point in minmaxing tops to a skirt if it's going to be too cold for the skirt, or too hot for the tops. and no reason to pack nice clothes if you're going to be doing outdoorsy things, or going too much for comfort and forgetting your nice things for fancy meals or special events.

bottoms and huge dresses take up more space than shorter tops, so I pack 1 pair of pants to switch out with the pair I'm in and wear them all the time, I do not need a special pants for special shirts combo. Layering tops may look nicer but now you're packing 3 garments when 1 will do UNLESS you're unsure of the weather and layering means you can skip a heavier jacket. Travel clothes are about practicality, not fashion.
