I say 'not secrets' unless they have an explanation as to why shipping it or hitting is a secret. But some "hit it" secrets can be self explanatory.

Yes, this. I don't mind "I ship it" if there's also something like "secret because it seems everyone else who ships this are batshit insane haters and I don't want my fandom friends thinking I am too" or another explanation as to exactly WHY it's a secret. Likewise, an "I'd hit that" is okay if it has "secret because I'm old enough to be his/her parent" or some other valid sort of reason. Of course, as [livejournal.com profile] gully_moe said, sometimes just the image of the character(s) is an explanation in itself as to why the "I ship it"/"I'd hit it" is a secret.

But just plain "I ship it" with a reasonably normal pairing and no explanation? How is it a secret?
