'Cause we gotta do this at least like once a year.

[Poll #1484034]

Whatever's decided goes into practice next Saturday, Nov 14th.

weighing in late in the game, this has probably been said by somebody, but I'm disappointed by the majority opposed to I ship it / I'd hit it

1) why should the secrets' authors have to defend themselves? some people are not comfortable revealing certain things. they don't owe anybody an explanation for that. why we the audience have to be in the business of qualifying their shame, judging validity or sincerity of their confessions, surmising quality of their friends, I am not sure.

2) I know there's no [livejournal.com profile] fandomsecrets mission statement, but I've always assumed (wrongly?) that the main reason for this comm is so secret posters can get their secrets off their chests. sure, the rest of us get to watch, but our entertainment isn't owed first priority. secrets shouldn't be required to be "interesting," only true. to the people complaining about how it's boring, I don't care about it, too many - scroll southward. anon isn't putting on this show for you.

Dude, they're anon secrets. You should be able to say anything because no one knows who is actually posting them. Or else what's the point of telling a secret?
