There are situations where one might not feel comfortable advertising. Like church, unfortunately. What do you do when a belief system is giving you what you need to make it through the week, yet requires that sacrifice?

I guess what I'm saying is there are nuances beyond just plain bigotry.

if a belief system condemns who you are and who you love it's time to find another belief system.

And sometimes you need to decide if staying somewhere is worth sacrificing your principles.

Regardless of your reasons (and maybe they are good ones, I wouldn't know), your choice to stay will invite judgment from people who have been harmed by, or know those who have been harmed by such beliefs.

I sincerely hope you're able to find a better solution.
