I got into The X-Files in 2007, which at the time felt very late, as the show ran from 1993–2002. But then, by pure happenstance, the second movie was announced about six months after I got into the show, and even though IWTB ended up being pretty bad, it sparked a revival that the fandom coasted on for several more years. Good times.
