Well damn, you may have cracked the code for getting me interested in vampires. If they were written like this I'd be all about it. As is I just have zero interest in them.

I actually don't think I fully realized how under-explored this take on vampire fiction is until seeing people ITT saying, "This is why I'm not interested in vampires."

I've always liked vampires in fiction; I'm an easy sell on them. But now I'm realizing it honestly might be because I see a lot of erotic potential in them, and not so much because of what the popular vampire fiction that exists is actually delivering.
