honestly, i don't have a problem with it these days because it's SO much less predatory than it used to be. it used to be that there was NO guarantee on pulling a character from a banner, so if you had bad luck you could wind up spending $1000+ to get a character you wanted. now days pity exists, so you know that you'll max out at a certain number of pulls and then you'll be guaranteed that character.
