I disagree with basically everything Pseychie says about gacha games, but I still think he gets more flak than he really deserves. Dude's not an intentional shill; he just thinks gambling is fun.

that's fair. there's a reason why gambling is so popular. i don't have a problem with it in general, but the games that are designed to be addictive and exploitative of people who have a gambling problem do bother me. some people can handle stopping themselves and being reasonable with their spending, but the problem is the ones who spend all that they have. there's a casino near me and everyone who has worked there has had stories about people who came in and gambled their rent/mortgage money, their grocery money, drained their savings, lost relationships, etc. it's really sad
