I was going to say, I grew up in the 80s and I definitely remember all sorts of merch and collabs for things from back then.

but, fellow 80s child, it was things that made sense. things that kids would want - cereal, candy, toys, the occasional shirt and shoe. It wasn't laundry detergent. Ghostbusters cereal, gummy candies, and velcro shoes are different from laundry soap and deodorant.
