literally don't know what you're talking about, OP. sure Robert has a rather dry sence of humor, but (depending on which options you choose (but I'd also argue in every option)) he's the most sincere character in the whole game. from the top of my head, in 1st episode, if you choose to reply to the 3rd reporter you'd get a pretty straightforward answer for a, let's be honest, disgustingly unfair question (but both attack and ignore options are very emotionally loaded in this situation). Robert is an emotional heart of the whole game, the way he acts, the way his apartment looks, his history, the way he instantly regrets his words to Vizi and being mad at her (and her bringing him his fave dougnut but then destroying it in rage after his words), the fact that by the end of ep2 he has a whole speech about being all in for the Z team and making it work.
sure, other than Robert there's not a lot of sincere moments at first, but that's normal - we have a bunch of ex-villains as main cast, and other chars don't have a lot of screen time.
to me, OP being like "FINALLY by the 3rd episode they started to show emotions" is like um yeah, that's the story progression for you? but also, false? there were emotions, did you just not see or did not count those instances for some reason???
