Same. I just feel way too guilty. One of my favourite horror games growing up was Haunting Ground, and there's an ending that requires you to lower your relationship level with your dog companion until he basically hates you. This can be done by feeding him food he hates and kicking him repeatedly. I passed the controller to my brother instead and let him do it.
