What were you hoping for? This was my first Animal Crossing game and while I enjoyed it for a while, all the fussing around and decorating is really not fun for me after a while, so I stopped playing.

More interactions/personality/dialogue for villagers. They just feel so...I dunno, nerfed, in comparison to the older games. When I opened my game up a day or two ago, I talked to two lazy villagers in a row, they gave me the exact same dialogue. Then two snooty villagers in a row, and they too gave me the exact same dialogue! Like, come on. It's so repetitive. :( More plants and a plant section in the museum. More interactivity with items, more shop upgrades, more mini games, more community buildings, jobs for villagers or even the player

Oh, that makes sense. The lack of interaction and development with the villagers was not great.

I'm in the same boat! When I first got the game I was absolutely obsessed with it, I couldn't get enough of it. But after I finished developing my island and getting all the upgrades and all, I kind of lost interest. I bought the decorating DLC but I found it to get repetitive really quickly. I'm sure I'll play the new update some, but I don't see it really drawing me back into the game. The hotel seems like it's going to be quite similar to the DLC.
