I haven't really been into Witcher since first season because they just went in a direction I didn't care about (plus I was there for the Jaskier&Geralt friendship and they kind of killed that imo) but I always felt like it had the potential to be a fun ensemble show. Glad it's hitting the marks for you.

Aw I love that for you! I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of actual fans agree with you. The show has always drawn a tremendous amount of hate and the happy voices tend to get drowned out. I hope if you want to connect with other fans that you all run into each other <3

That's what happens when the show follows the books more closely than whatever the hell S2 was (and the parts of S3 they had to waste on undoing S2)

I'm sure I'll be accused of being entitled, but I'm not excited for the AC:NH update. None of it interests me except for the resetting service. I don't care to build up another fucking island (or three) in dream mode, I'm tired of styling rooms or houses, the Switch 2 updates don't even look worth paying for, and the collabs are meh. I love the game and wanted more content, but this isn't what I was hoping for.

What were you hoping for? This was my first Animal Crossing game and while I enjoyed it for a while, all the fussing around and decorating is really not fun for me after a while, so I stopped playing.

my personal #1 wish for animal crossing is just quality-of-life updates to make it smoother, faster, and easier to do stuff. let us craft multiple things at once, make it take fewer clicks to get through things like the crafting dialogue or buying shit from sahara. let us turn off the flavor text when we catch a fish or a bug. it just feels like you have so many fussy little clicks you have to do and it really wears me down. also the multiplayer is so clunky and slow and just painful to deal with

The new update is nice but honestly it's just more of the same. Which is cool for everyone who enjoys NH gameplay loop but I think a lot of people have just left NH behind.

This last season of Halloween Baking Championship was almost unwatchable. So awkward and uncomfortable. Worse season since Carla hosted.

Creators of fanwork should be paid for commissioned work; it's their time and effort and talent creating something to spec that they would not have created otherwise.

Creators charging people for mere viewing access to non-commissioned fanworks based on others' IP that they're producing anyway, though? I don't have much sympathy for. I don't repost paywalled content, but I don't feel bad when they complain about it being reposted elsewhere by others, either.

Ofc this is for fan content only; a creator paywalling original content is totally fair.

When I get the hots for a fictional character, it usually comes with the general shape of a fantasy scenario. But for some reason I can't figure it out for him. His cool detachment is so fucking hot, but my brain stalls out trying to put him into a good in-character porn scene. None of the fanfic I've read so far feels quite right either. Damn it, Kirsh.
