The only reason I saw the Beetlejuice sequel was because I was at a Halloween party, wild and crazy and booze driven, and despite all my plans to be fun and join in the revelery, I got overstimulated, shut down, and ostracized myself in a chair and pretended to be really into the movie playing in a side room.

Seems reasonable.

I wish there were more movies playing in the parties I used to end up at. I tended to hide in the kitchen or on the stoop when I needed a break from it all.

As for the Beetlejuice sequel, I started watching it out of mild curiosity, but had to stop to do something else and never picked it up again. Not a glowing endorsement, I guess.
