I never comment on Twitch and only eternally lurk, because if I start chatting, I start feeling a guilty obligation to spend money by subscribing. If I only ever lurk, I don't feel that pressure.

Yeah, Twitch has spent a lot of money developing the best ways to get people to donate/gift, they keep coming out with more stuff that's effective too.

i am genuinely ashamed of how much money i've spent on twitch. i kind of hate myself for it. what the absolute fuck is wrong with me to give money away to strangers like that? it's not even a sexual gratification thing for me, i think i'm just lonely and the main person is someone i would like to be friends with, a smaller streamer, so it lets me pretend that someone else cares.

I guess I'm lucky because I only watch a handful of streamers and the two I support are one I've watched for over a decade and the other one streams a monthly wrestling show on their twitch page so subscribing to him helps him to afford to put on more shows.

I'm completely neutral on TSwift. Some songs are good, others are a snoresfest. But like... are we really expecting anything else? She's very digestible and marketable, and sadly hypersexual music is what tops the charts. She could do X and Y, but I wouldn't have high hopes for a billionaire. Maybe checking out indie artists on Bandcamp would bge more of your speed.

The only reason I saw the Beetlejuice sequel was because I was at a Halloween party, wild and crazy and booze driven, and despite all my plans to be fun and join in the revelery, I got overstimulated, shut down, and ostracized myself in a chair and pretended to be really into the movie playing in a side room.
