His other dorm mates are Nott and Zabini though, and as far as I recall, are both neutral in the war, even though Nott's father is a DE. Whilst Lucius might have encouraged/allowed him to associate with the Nott family, Nott Jr might not have been interested due to the DE ties. Same with Zabini.

He clearly dislikes Pansy Parkinson, and apart from her the other girls aren't mentioned much (despite him going on to marry one of his yearmates younger sisters)

As for the other Slytherins, well he WAS a stuck up little prat for most of the series. Despite how fandom likes to woobify him, in canon there aren't that many redeeming features about him that'd encourage others to associate with him, unless they something - something he's probably been trained to look out for.
